Disappearing in the dance
During this workshop we will focus on following the stream of living impulses and movements within the body and on shaping them into actions, as independent from will and reason as possible. We will observe the processes in us, catch the biggest impulse and ride with it, in order to become the dance. The exercises and games will help us relax the analytical and systematic activities of the brain. They will trigger other parts of the body to react without considering much the aesthetics, compositional norms, cultural conformity or logical arguments. The training based on methods of movement exploration and improvisation is designed for those seeking personal enrichment and professional development.
