Der Kunstraum Niederösterreich schreibt im Jahr 2014 zum achten Mal den H13 – Niederösterreich Preis für Performance aus.

Performance ist eine Darstellungsform – ebenso vielfältig wie unterschiedlich in Inszenierung und Inhalt – die in der österreichischen Kunst bereits eine lange Tradition hat und in den letzten Jahren einer zunehmenden kunsthistorischen Aufarbeitung unterzogen wird. Mit dem Kunstpreis H13 soll den performativen Arbeiten der jüngeren Generation spezielle Aufmerksamkeit zuteil werden.

Neben einem Preisgeld von € 2.000,- für die Gewinnerin/den Gewinner der Ausschreibung soll die prämierte Performance am 04.09.2014 im Kunstraum Niederösterreich zur Aufführung kommen. Die Realisierung der Performance wird zusätzlich mit € 2.000,- unterstützt. Bei den eingereichten Konzepten sollen daher auch die räumlichen Gegebenheiten des Kunstraum Niederösterreich mitgedacht werden.

Dotierung
Der H13 2014 ist mit € 2.000,- dotiert.
Die Siegerperformance wird am 04.09.2014 im Kunstraum Niederösterreich zur Aufführung kommen. Für die Produktion der Performance steht ein Budget von € 2.000,- (exkl. Ust.) zur Verfügung.

Teilnahmekriterien
Die Ausschreibung richtet sich an alle Künstlerinnen und Künstler, die seit mindestens zwei Jahren in Österreich leben und arbeiten. Jede Bewerbung erfolgt unter Ausschluss des Rechtsweges. Alle Bewerber/innen anerkennen mit ihrer Teilnahme die Entscheidung der Jury. Die Bewerberin/der Bewerber muss Urheber/in sein (Urheberrechtsgesetz, § 10, Abs. 1).
Die eingereichten Performances (in Form von Konzepten, siehe Punkt 4) dürfen bis zum 04.09.2014 nicht öffentlich aufgeführt worden sein.

Call for Applications Deadline: 11.11.2013

Young dancers and contemporary choreographers can apply with their latest productions.
As participants in the competition, choreographers and dancers from around the world, are requested to perform a solo piece which is new, original, imaginative, unique and which displays unusual achievement. Thus, the festival will provide an overall view of the latest trends in the solo-dance-theatre scene. The respected jury will judge choreographic and dance skills as well as musicality, interpretation and performance.

After the deadline a pre-jury selects participants who will perform their productions between 13 and 16 March 2014 in front of the jury and the audience. The jury awards altogether six prizes, three for each of the two categories “choreography” and “dance”. The 1st prizes are awarded with € 3.500,- each, 2nd prizes with € 2.500,- each and the 3rd prizes with € 1.500,- each.
The tour will take place in Germany from 14th November until 26nd November 2014.
A global fee, travel expenses, overnight costs and catering will be paid.

The Federation dance, in cooperation with the NATIONAL PERFORMANCE NETWORK (NPN) is launching two models to support sustainable increase networking and international promotion of German contemporary dance.

The NPN International Guest Performance Fund for Dance is directed at multipliers as well as international programmers, it supports them when they invite productions that were created in Germany while offering Certain minimum wages that are based on standard German rates. Depending on the country, the type of support varies in order to balance the differences in the respective country’s economic power.

The NPN Coproduction Fund for Dance assists artists, programmers and producers’ mobility, exchange and cooperation on a national and international basis. It advances the creation of new dance productions that extend beyond solos or small formats. The artists’ origins are irrelevant, however, production must take place in Germany to a substantial degree. The involvement of international partners as co-producers Increases the chances for support, but is not absolutely necessary. Programmers are not the only ones eligible to apply, individual artists and companies can do Sun as well. The applicant must be the executing producer and headquartered in Germany. In addition, at least one of the German production partner must be a producer or programmer (eg, festival, venue or production unit). The funds can lie between 10,000 and 50,000 EUR and no more than 50 percent of the production costs.

Noch bis 15. Februar kann man Anträge stellen für das Förderprogramm Szenenwechsel zur Unterstützung internationaler Kooperationen im Bereich der Darstellenden Künste.

Das internationale Programm ermöglicht Theatern und freien Gruppen, ihre bewährten Ausdrucksformen und Themensetzungen durch neue Akzente zu bereichern, künstlerische Impulse zu setzen und sich intensiv mit Künstlern, deren Werken sowie Themen aus anderen kulturellen Kontexten auseinanderzusetzen.

Jährlich werden zehn bis zwölf internationale Kooperationen zwischen einem Theater oder einer freien Theatergruppe aus dem deutschsprachigen Raum und einem Partner aus den Ländern Osteuropas oder Nordafrikas mit bis zu 15.000 Euro gefördert.

Bewerben können sich freie Gruppen aus den Bereichen Schauspiel, Tanz, Musiktheater und Performance sowie feste Häuser aus dem deutschsprachigen Raum (Deutschland, Österreich und Schweiz).
